Exploring the World’s Center: Mitad del Mundo in Ecuador

It’s a popular destination for tourists interested in the unique experience of being at the geographic center of the world, and it often includes demonstrations and experiments showcasing the equator’s unique characteristics, such as water swirling in different directions on each side of the line. Several countries around the world have tourist attractions or monuments dedicated to the equator, and one of the most famous is the “Mitad del Mundo” in Ecuador, located just north of Quito.
